Don't just cast your vote! Make it count!

Yes, we are the largest democracy in the world and it is our right to vote. It is quite essential that we make it count.

NOTA (None of the above) option enables the voter to register a vote of rejection for all candidates who are contesting. If a voter chooses to press NOTA on the EVM, it indicates that the voter has not chosen to vote for any of the party.

Before you go for NOTA, please see the following video:

Though we have NOTA option, in a democratic country we will always have to choose the available best. In the video, Mr. Mohan Bhagwat (sarsangchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh i.e RSS) explains how every NOTA vote favours the second best.

In Mahabharata too, Krishna says it is difficult to get a candidate that is 100% as desired. So, while choosing sides, one must choose the better option.

Another misconception is that majority NOTA calls for a re-election. This isn't true, in case of majority NOTA, the candidate with most votes get elected.
It's a simple strategy, when these candidates cannot convince us to vote for them, they convince us to vote for none.
So don't forget to vote and vote wisely!
