India and its Youth

‘Vasudeiva Kutumba’ as recalled by India’s prominent leaders, India is surely a country which believes in ‘Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu’. Though this policy has also given us few losses, we, today’s youth are still steady on these words but with a confidence to revert back if necessary, potentially even stronger than attacked.

Looking back to the last ten years and looking forward to the next twenty, the decade can be called as ‘India’s decade of development’. Among those, the past few years have been the years inducing great change: Digitalizing India, Jan Dhan Yojana that ensured every individual of a bank account, ‘Swach Bharat’ the cleanliness drive, ‘Make In India’, presented a stage to young Indian entrepreneurs and global investors  to come together. Many such schemes have contributed to the inch by inch development of an individual and on a widespread level.

Since the time of Indian freedom movement until today the two significant pillars of India have been  its ‘youth’ and ‘the experienced’ that have both gone hand in hand to bring about a revolution in the society. How much ever do we give credits to the old man who only with non-violence as his weapon fought for a sovereign India, we cannot forget those young hearts without whose brave efforts and sacrifices India wouldn’t have been called the largest democratic government.

India’s political movement against corruption for the Lok Pal bill is afresh in our minds. It unleashed the youth’s disenchantment against establishment, using new means of communications like Twitter, Facebook as its fuel which was again headed by a 75 year old Gandhian. Well, you can call it as shades of youth movement that always maintains the structure of traditional Indian family.

The youth compelled NGO’s, social welfare committees and other organizations today enforce on the ‘each one teach one’ policy to lead to complete literacy and consecutively enhanced work force. Moreover we have ample number of non profit organizations and their young volunteers who work day and night not for individual progress but have envisaged for a sufficient and happy surrounding. The springtide of A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s dream India has independent opinion that does not rely on conventions of society. Henceforth, I personally believe that when an educated youth follows his heart, change will follow suit; attaining maximum literacy, enhanced skill building programmes, efficient man-force, India will no longer remain an orthodox country.

Every awakened and aware citizen would agree that revolution is in the making with every youth set his eye on his goal, making it their life’s purpose, fighting all odds and giving meaning to life and country while they achieve every small drop of their dream to ocean.

As foretold and believed by India’s gem like leaders in next ten years, we will have young India emerging with flying colours, dynamic and versatile in every manner. We will rise to fight against crime, to ban corruption and we will live and let live our women with dignity.

The struggles have begun, decisions have been made. Indian prime wave has chosen to break the chains that restrain their progress. We have determined that every girl will learn, we have started learning that our daughter’s like Sakshi Malik, Geeta Phugat, Nirja Bhanot, Bachendri Pal are boon and none less than our sons.

Above all we have promised for a clean society which will be more safe, honest, to build an environment capable to nurture blooming minds, expand visions and to be lead to a brighter future with innovative concepts and dignity without forgetting our downtrodden.
